Wadada Movement is a dynamic twin-led fashion brand rooted in individuality, cultural pride, and innovation. The name Wadada means “Love” in Amharic - reflecting the brand’s core values.
Since debuting in Protoje’s iconic Rasta Love music video in 2011, Wadada Movement has showcased multiple collections on runways from New York City to Jamaica, Tobago and Trinidad and a few more in-between. Known for their signature overlong skirts and reggae-inspired styles, Wadada seeminglessly blends elegance with cultural authenticity - allowing the brand to standout consistently in Caribbean and international fashion.
After a 3–4 year hiatus, Wadada Movement is returning strong to the fashion scenein 2025, ready to redefine style with renewed energy and vision.
Collection Title: "Worn Again, Never the Same"
This is a celebration of longevity — not just of a brand, but of womanhood, of resilience, of style that doesn’t whisper to trends but speaks to time.
In their 15th year Wadada Movement reimagines denim — not as the rugged rebel, but as the quiet statement. Each piece in this collection moves with intention. Flowing skirts that dance with the past and future. Oversized shirts that carry presence without asking permission. T-shirts that speak softly yet boldly. Long pants tailored to move from gala to ground level — conservative, urban, elevated.
Every look is built from lightweight denim — familiar yet redefined.
This is not fast fashion. These are not fleeting moments. These are clothes meant to be kept. To be reworn, restyled and revamped. This collection is an ode to every woman who dresses herself with purpose — who knows that the pieces she wears should grow with her.
This is .. Wadada Movement, 15 years strong.
A foundation in every sense of the word.
